READ THE MAGAZINE
Exploring Earth’s natural wonders, in our opinion, is a vital component to a life well-lived. There are things to be learned that can only be discovered first-hand, up close and personal. Things that leave a lasting impression, things that make you wiser, things that make you feel the interconnectedness of life on this precious planet.

Such insights make us better citizens of the world. After we’ve made profound connections with people who lead very different lives than our own, we’re more open and curious about all kinds of cultures. And once we’ve immersed ourselves in exquisite (and often fragile) habitats, it’s likely that conservation becomes a matter of our ongoing concern—perhaps even a commitment or lifestyle adjustment. Global Safari MagazineTM is here to feed those interests and inspire your next epic journey.

While creating adventures that promote the conservation of culture, land, and wildlife over the last thirty years, we have also established partnerships with those who share our vision of making the world a better place, one trip at a time.
This vision is rooted out of 1990s East Africa, where UNCHARTED founders Chip and Sandy Cunningham started building their business. From the outset, they were embedded in the world of ethical, high-end, and low-impact safari camps and lodges.
That era is also when the Cunninghams started to make connections with people who would end up not only becoming dear friends, but who would also spread conservation-focused hospitality practices around the globe. “Safari style” ideas were impressively exported Down Under to Australia and New Zealand. And that same strategy has been used to restore tiger populations in India. These values are also shared by our compadres in the eco-lodges, haciendas, and estancias of Chile, Argentina, Peru, Colombia, and Ecuador. For us, if they’re not doing things the right way on the ground, we’re not sending our UNCHARTED clients to them.

If we’ve learned anything over the years, it’s that change is a constant … and that’s why we need to continuously Global Safari MagazineTM. Our ultimate goal with this online magazine is to foster a community of like-minded and well-informed souls who share a commitment to doing good by traveling well.
Global Safari MagazineTM is your guide to the global safari lifestyle.
Let’s get going
