Begin your dream
Sixteen days across two of Europe's great edges. Fjord country by inflatables and kayaks, Copenhagen on foot and by canal, then Kerry's coastline with falconers, foragers, and storytellers. the landscape and the people in it.
This journey moves from Norway's fjords to Copenhagen to Ireland's southwest. It opens in Ålesund, settles into an exclusive-use lodge on the Vanylvsfjord, and climbs to UNESCO-listed Geirangerfjord. Copenhagen brings food, canals, and Tivoli. Ireland closes it out with Georgian Dublin and four nights at Sheen Falls Lodge in Kenmare. Private drivers and guides throughout. Breakfast included everywhere. Full board at the fjord lodge.

Three cantilevered lodges hang over the Vanylvsfjord, taken on exclusive-use with a private host and chef. Days fill with Viking storytelling at Sagastad, rowing an authentic longship, heritage farm visits, and kayaking below the cliffs. Evenings belong to the sauna and the water.

A RIB run past the Seven Sisters and Bridal Veil, then a steep hike to the abandoned Skageflå mountain farm perched above the water. Back at the hotel: pools, a playroom, and a vintage car collection. The village moves at fjord pace.

Three days in a converted central post office with a heated rooftop pool. A private walking and food tour covers smørrebrød lunch and Strøget shopping, a sunset canal cruise threads Christianshavn, and Tivoli Gardens handles the rest. Bikes optional, encouraged.

Four restored 1760s townhouses opposite government buildings. A historian guide walks the family through the city's stories, then a session of hurling and Gaelic football gets the blood flowing. The Little Museum of Dublin closes the loop with a private host.

A 300-acre estate above the River Sheen, and a different local character each day. A falconer runs the Hawk Walk. John forages seaweed on the Ring of Kerry. A Kerry-man skipper who grew up on the Killarney lakes takes the boat out. A storyteller brings the fireside. This is the long exhale of the trip.

“Land stays wild when the people living beside it are better off with the wildlife than without it.”
