The lake has long been a cultural hub, supporting local communities through fishing, trade, and sustaining traditional practices along its shores.
This place is all about chimps! But you'll also see baboons, Colobus monkeys, crocs and leopards.

Fly from Arusha to the Greystoke airstrip, followed by an hour-long boat ride up the lake.
