On Ancestral Land, Set in Africa’s First Tribal-Led Wildlife Sanctuary
The Moremi Game Reserve was founded by theBaTwana tribal authorities, making it thefirst wildlife sanctuary established by anAfrican tribe on their ancestral land.
Why it's unique
Khwai Lediba opens the door to one of Botswana’s most intricate and lesser-known ecosystems, far from the more traveled routes.
Khwai Lediba is a riverside safari camp set on ancestral land in the Khwai Community Concession, offering front-row wildlife access and strong local stewardship. After game drives or mokoro rides, unwind by the fire pit or relax poolside in the open air.
