Located at the very heart of the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, Lewa House has the feel of one of the original safari homes of East Africa.
Lewa House offers an authentic African safari experience with stunning views of Mt. Kenya and the Matthews Range. Enjoy sunrise over the peaks, elephants at a mud hole, and wild mint margaritas under the stars. The cottages and earth pods blend traditional charm with modern comfort, providing near-exclusive access to vibrant wildlife.

Lewa Conservancy, Kenya
Founded in 1995, Lewa Wildlife Conservancy evolved from the Ngare Sergoi Rhino Sanctuary, established in 1983 to protect northern Kenya’s black rhinos. Today, Lewa is a key player in conservation efforts in Kenya and beyond.
The simplest way to reach Lewa is by taking a daily scheduled flight from Nairobi. Alternatively, you can charter a flight from other parks or Nairobi.
Lewa Conservancy protects critically endangered black rhinos and Grevy’s zebras, along with elephants, lions, giraffes, wild dogs, and other wildlife. It also hosts over 490 bird species.
Lewa envisions a future where wildlife and livelihoods are integrated, supported by investments in education, healthcare, water, and youth programs.
