Mokete: The Okavango Delta’s most untamed area
Giant herds of buffalo and zebras mean onething — predators on the hunt — and “mokete”means “feast.” You just might have breakfastalong with the lions.
Why it's unique
The Mababe region of Botswana is about as raw and remote as it gets. It’s the type of place likely to leave you breathless and in awe.
This is the place to witness multiple lion kills. The place to helicopter over a giant tsessebe buffalo herd, the spectacle stretching the horizon. The place to be dazzled by migrating zebras, creating a world of black and white.
