Umani Springs: Life Under Kibwezi Forest’s Leafy Trees
Umani, like all of Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’scamps, focuses on helping vulnerable orphanedanimals reintegrate into the wild and reclaimtheir place in nature.
Why it's unique
With special access to one of Sheldrick Wildlife Trust's elephant reintegration units, play with orphaned elephants.
Many of the orphans here have fraught histories and challenging physical setbacks, but Umani’s habitat is lush year-round, meaning compromised elephants and rhinos will never have to travel far for food or water — and they take mud baths daily!
