Since our first forays into safari-style luxury adventure travel in the ’90s, we built UNCHARTED on the core principle that ethical travel gives back to the land, to wildlife, and to the communities and cultures that make each destination extraordinary.

So when the opportunity came to become an official member of The Long Run, a global network of lodges, operators, and conservationists who have made a formal commitment to ecological first principles, it felt like coming home. The organization's 4 C's — Conservation, Community, Culture, and Commerce — are intrinsic to our company’s DNA.

Joining The Long Run means we now have access to an even broader community of like-minded Outposts and conservationists — including many friends and partners we've known and worked alongside for decades — along with the shared knowledge, best practices, and standards that come from being part of one of the world's most respected sustainable travel networks.

For our travelers, this is a promise renewed. You share in our commitments and the successes and satisfactions they produce. Every experience we design will continue to be rooted in the values that have guided us from day one — and now we have even more tools to ensure those values are felt on the ground.

We're proud to be part of The Long Run and excited for what we'll learn, build, and protect together.
