Why it's unique

Known as The Land of a Thousand Hills, everything is carpeted in green and draped in mist in this volcanic landscape.

Nestled into a natural amphitheater of an eroded volcanic cone, Bisate features dramatic views of misty mountains and was designed to reflect vast bird nests tucked into the trees (the park has over 200 species). It also takes inspiration from the Tutsis’ Royal Palace in Nyanza. The lodge offers a unique blend of luxury and conservation, providing an immersive experience in Rwanda’s rich cultural and natural heritage.
