Tsara Komba: In the Land of Lemurs

Here, it’s all about volcanic slopes, goldbeaches, cerulean waters and lush jungles —plus unforgettable encounters with the famousforest acrobats that call this region home.

Why it's unique

A tropical-jungle-meets-desert island nation known for its endemic species found nowhere else on earth, Madagascar was made for the nature enthusiast.

Madagascar—often called the “Red Island” or the “8th Continent”—is also the land of lemurs. Encounter the forest acrobats during a trek through lush jungle trails, or dive and snorkel in the surrounding cerulean waters for a chance of a whale shark sighting. Back at the lodge, unwind in your open-air bungalow, savor fresh island cuisine, and soak in the untouched beauty of this wild paradise, where nature takes center stage.

Nosy Komba, Madagascar

As you explore the natural wonders of these islands, take in the fragrant ylang-ylang plantations that grace the landscape and visit nearby local villages.

How To Get There

From Antanarivo, Madagascar’s capital, fly into Nosy Be, the largest island in the archipelago. A private water taxi is then arranged to smaller Nosy Komba.

Flora & Fauna

The Nosy Be islands are known for whale shark encounters; they are the gentle giants of the sea. On land, spot fossas and more chameleon species than imaginable.

Cultural Impact

The lodge immerses guests in local traditions, sparking cultural exchange and raising awareness of the need to conserve both Madagascar's unique biodiversity and rich heritage.
